I’m surprised no one has mentioned pdsh yet. Piped to dshbak and output was grouped by response. I’d probably use a config management tool for anything more than simple commands now but that tool was indispensable for managing our fleet, when we used to actually connect to machines.

Welp, I now have a new Bluesky account just for generating satirical misinformation. Thanks for the inspiration!

So he just sold himself a company he already owns for a valuation that he himself assigned to that company but that was less than what he paid for it, and he paid entirely using “money” that has a made up value and which he issues himself?

Wild.

It’s actually more, right? Because it’s $33b+$12b of debt, which means he’s saying it’s worth $45b.

This is why juicero failed! No AI!

Why did he reload every shot? Is it self made pistol? My best guess that insurance haven't paid his enough to buy glock17
igetspam · 9 months ago
Or it could just be a single action pistol, as noted in the article. They’re not common but there are a handful of them that are relatively easy to obtain. Competitive shooters use them and it seems that Seals are sometimes issued single action pistols too.

What incentive does a House of Reps Subcommittee have to get it wrong? That is, why can some government inquiries be trusted to be approximately good-faith scientific inquires, whereas others (perhaps this one) cannot?

(I ask out of genuine naivety to US political research/processes/inquiries)

Politics.

My main reservation for not buying the outcome of a house panel is qualification. These are just elected politicians. How are any of us supposed to trust that they can grok science? The whole thing would have to come at ELI5 level simplicity.

Where’s the crazy part? Lots of people are vegan or vegetarian. Many cultures the world over don’t consume meat. Is it because she chose to change her diet? Because she chose it for ethical and environmental reasons? Or because you don’t agree?

I for one think turkey tastes like crap. Never understood gluttony as a holiday. On the other hand, I think turkeys are funny as hell and love having them on my farm.

The number of animals we toss in a bin is pretty crazy. You wouldn’t put that many dogs in the trash and think it was okay, would you? Is it just because you assume they don’t taste as good?
