At this rate it's cheaper to pay a full time DevOps team to run several Matrix servers so you have high availability.

While it's impossible for game developers to write code to cover every situation, AI could make general reactions possible.
It's surprising that really simple things like this haven't been tried yet (AFAIK!). Like, even if it's just the dialogue, it can still go a long way.
Both still feels like the sad-er side of open-source WRT polish - stability, reliability and ease-of-use.
I would be willing to pay for something great that I can self-host, but sadly nothing truly great exists.
