We support MCP server which you can use to connect to claude

https://github.com/RedPlanetHQ/core/blob/main/README.md You can check in our readme on how to use mcp server

Tried this, no joy. I created a CORE API key from my workspace->API page, configured MCP with Claude Desktop, I get this: "You didn't provide an API key...You can obtain an API key from https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys"

Other memory MCP servers do not require access to OpenAI - and not even sure why I would want any of my data going there when I use a paid Claude subscription.

I like the idea here, but doesn't seem very usable.

Tesla is going down the drain, at least in Europe, unless shareholders evict Musk. Nothing iPhone-like with that brand anymore.

Tesla makes great products.

Fascinating read. Never knew about these 'aggregate' organisms.

> you should be worried about your staff being bribed, otherwise coerced or worse just being foreign agents

This is it, find a senior network operator, pick up their kids from school, and take them home.

You now have an agent with full access over that network.

But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you

Yes, this intersection has that. The problem is the sensor starts a timer that's set to 2 or 3 minutes for most of the day. This becomes a minimum wait time even when there are no oncoming cars for the entire wait period. At this intersection, the wastefully pointless "idle there for 3 minutes with no other cars anywhere in sight" scenario happens quite often.

There's also an even more perverse failure mode: we often end up waiting for 2.5 minutes with no other cars anywhere in sight, then when a lone car is randomly approaching the light that's been green for no cars (going its way) for 2.5 minutes, that one car gets stopped and waits as we finally get our turn arrow after 3 minutes. If the light was the least bit "smart", it would have changed for us right when we pulled up and no other cars were in sight. The turn arrow is only 10 seconds, so we would have been long gone and the intersection back to green by the time that other car was approaching - no car would have needed to wait and everyone would have been better served.

FrameMaker and Interleaf did this pretty well. And SGML-based tools, and TeX/LaTeX, of course.

The Microsoft Word way has always seemed to support styles more like they were grafted on as an afterthought, without wanting to disturb the least-knowledgeable users, to the point that knowledgeable users have to tiptoe around all the UI that breaks styles.

Framemaker was great, was the tool used by most US military contractors in 90s. Many well known aircraft were designed using this document tool. I still try to configure MS Word to work like it.

> The world is teetering on the edge of world war

The world probably has never been as peaceful as in the last 50 years or so.

Same goes for access to drinkable water, food, decent shelter, gender equality, freedoms, technology, etc.

But I suppose your comment is a good illustration of the problem at hands (that so many people deeply believe that things are fucked)

>The world probably has never been as peaceful as in the last 50 years or so.

Peaceful? As in Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, Iran? Brazil is at great risk also.

I don't think so.

Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy was first a radio show, then a book, then a TV series and finally a movie - and each one treats the source material differently (and 3 of them all involved the original creator).

People need to get over the idea of faithful adaptations for different media formats.

hanszarkov · a year ago
I like the show so far. I did read the books several times because they are incredible.

I think its better for people to think of this (or any film based on other media) as someone's adaptation. I wonder if the expectations for such endeavors are high because of how good Jackson was with LoTR - surely an epic story and films, but this is just a TV series. Some of these imdb comments are funny, like the one that likens this show to the Friends TV series - only set in Oxford. Probably because the portrayal of the group of scientists is more social than science, but that is just a reflection of the time we live in.

So not without thorns, but if you are a fan of the books this is a fun watch.
