I see an increasing number of politicians taking the position: "I supported Israel's government's actions when they first attacked, given the goals of destroying Hamas' leadership and freeing hostages, but now that it has turned into a brutal siege with mass civilian casualties on a horrific scale, I'm strongly against their actions." E.g. Macron, Angus King, and many people I know personally. And I think we need to say "Great!" The dumbest reaction is "screw you, you were for Israel's invasion and you're an asshole." Movements that want to grow should accept people who change their minds when the situation changes, they get new data, or they learn a new perspective.

Imagine thinking they don't have any idea what it was. Truly a naive perspective.

He is not a "courseboi". SaaStr is a legit brand that's been around for a long time focusing on the sales side of SaaS.

You have to remember this is someone who is almost certainly completely non-technical and purely vibe coding. He won't know what things like code freeze, rollbacks, production database, etc actually mean in real engineering terms and he is putting his full trust in the LLM.

Just because it's legit brand doesn't invalidate the fact that he sells courses.

Then customize it not to be. Are you criticizing it for having too many configuration options?
faizmokh · 2 months ago
If I have to do that I might as well maintain my current zsh config with antigen.

I criticized it because it's not "minimal" and it's not "blazing-fast".

Tried it. Not a fan. I find it unnecessarily fancy.

I would ditch Obsidian in a heartbeat once there's a Markdown support in Apple Notes.

> Eat a coffee bean by itself. If it tastes bad on its own, it’ll probably taste bad in the brew too. I enjoy munching a few beans while I make my coffee.

This just doesn't make sense to me. There are a great number of beans and vegetables that taste bitter or unpleasant "raw" but are very delicious with a bit of heat and time.

It’s something that you have to do to get it.

There’s a difference in taste between dark‑roast beans from Starbucks vs medium‑roast beans from your local coffee roaster.
