The original game was very much an indie/bedroom game, I programmed it over 12 months while I was studying and working a part-time job. But thanks to the efforts of our published Friendware it got released all over the world. I had published 2 commercial games in the 80s but then I shifted towards a more "normal software" direction via college and working at a bank, but the demoscene and the shareware world got me back into games, where I stay to this day.
Anyone got better luck on Mac?
But I think that the C64 compability of the C128 was detrimental. Because the C64 was so established it resulted in very little C128 native software being made. Publishers could just put a "C128 compatible" sticker on their existing C64 software.
I’m waiting for someone to make a 1Ghz / 64GB model.
