Probably auto rejected by Claude screening agent. Nothing PERSONAL.

My laptop screamed after I played around in the redux demo. Must be something like infinite loop.

Do you mean in the computed 202T digits of Pi, on in in the infinite sequence of Pi digits? In case of the latter: s̶u̶r̶e̶, probably, if Pi is normal, any finite sequence of digits is contained somewhere in Pi, so it would contain (in encoded form) any closed formula and any program, book, or piece of music ever written.

E: As the comments have pointed out, this requires the conjecture that Pi is normal to be true, was has not been proven or disproven yet.

I meant the computed digits. Probably unlikely

Is it possible to find a certain encoded formula of PI inside the PI digits itself, given its length?

Isn't it the way perl scripts write their documentation? I don't know what makes it good for personal knowledge systems from reading the introduction

> I know several world class programmers, and interestingly, the commonality among them is that they all seem to use Vim as their code editor. Many people I know who think of themselves as world class programmers use Emacs.

Curious who and who?

I recently visited China, and ended up buying my first iPhone (SE) to go there. The Google/Android situation their is awful. All the Chinese phones have shitty third party app stores, and you can't even install / update your apps without using an international sim or VPN on your international android phone. App store works just fine (filtered but fine).

Isn't this change going to allow China to roll out a shitty knock-off app store and make the iPhone experience just as horrible as Android over there? :(

And if this lets us run real Chrome on iOS, there goes any need for cross-browser testing for smaller websites (and Google themselves). This would make Firefox even less tested and give Google all the power.

Not an iPhone/iOS user myself, but I think this is bad news.

Every android phone maker in China has to curate its own app store, not because it is fun, but google decided to play hard ball. Not saying it's google's fault.

How did author just assumed that CPU are competetive for inference. Maybe yes if you just want to run 7 billion parameters model with batch size of 1, but with batching(including continuos batching of vllm), GPU have 2 order higher throughput. And even assuming moore's law is well alive, it will take decade to reach current GPU throughput. There is no way companies will shift to CPU for inference.

At one point, I even went back to Win10. But it's become so bad. Now I find myself a happy mate desktop user.
