Git autocorrect sounds like a very bad idea.

i thought they did DSA interviews at netflix what happened? I had to watch the fight on someone streaming to X from their phone at the event and it was better than watching on netflix..if you could watch at all. extremely embarrassing!

Its because they use medium-hard leetcode instead of hard. I suggest 8 rounds instead of 4

I agree unlike other commenters here that the apple intelligence ads try too hard to be quirky and appease this weird flavour of incompetence being popular. Theres nothing inspiring or awe inducing about the ad that induces excitement about technology

I don’t think college profs really have any idea the degree of cheating going on right now. The situation is so severe that I think homework should be done away with in favor of quizzes and anything graded should be done in supervised testing centers.

US universities are too focused on homework in general. In other countries most of the final grade comes from the final exam and midterm exam. Homework just creates extra work for everyone involved. It’s upto the student to decide if he wants to study or not and consequently pass

I think some are just pretty sick and tired of the explosion of needless complexity we've seen in the last decade or so in software, and rightly so. This is an industry-wide problem of deeply misaligned incentives (& some amount of ZIRP gold rush), not specific to this particular case - if this one is even a good example of this to begin with.

Honestly, as it stands, I think we'd be seen as pretty useless craftsmen in any other field due to an unhealthy obsession of our tooling and meta-work - consistently throwing any kind of sensible resource usage out of the window in favor of just getting to work with certain tooling. It's some kind of a "Temporarily embarrassed FAANG engineer" situation.

Any software engineer who thinks K8 is complex shouldn’t be a software engineer. It’s really not that hard to manage.

This looks really useful, I've used similar websites in the past but it's nice that it's all together here in one place.

If only you could not have it redirect on load, it makes the back button break. Clicking back to return to hackernews is almost impossible
