I would rather have many more decimal based addresses than trying to think in hex.
As for DNS, DNS is probably 30% of my problems and it just made it worse.

Hex looks easier to me. Plus it has the upside of splitting well on /64, /60, /56, /48, /32 which are the common cidr splits in IPv6.
Can you split the decimal on a /56 in your head? I always have to use a cidr calculator for IPv4 (/27, /28, /22) but never with IPv6.
Not sure what you mean you can't use the Internet without IPv4. Yes some sites won't work but some sites don't work with https but that doesn't mean you can't use https on the internet
Are people sharing their editor configs with this? I thought it was a way of getting a development environment setup, but those shouldn't have editor extensions and configuration.
