Exactly, you don't just exit for $32B. There's definitely more to the story, which feels "manufactured" for lack of better words.

I'm honestly curious, but what do you think that is?

America has the right to ban since china banned all American tech companies from operating in their nation but this means America could never ever talk about freedom of doing business bs
Pidaymou · a year ago
I'm not sure about that... They'll surely continue to use buzzwords "freedom","democracy" for their geopolitics seo.

Can someone explain the purpose of releasing this right before their administration is ending? Or am I misunderstanding something
Pidaymou · a year ago
The US bureaucracy is largely indifferent to changes in administration, though it undoubtedly wields significant influence. The key point is that major policy decisions are made by established bureaucrats in the military, State Department, and other parts of the essential institutional actors. As a result, any country, like China, perceived as a threat to US hegemony will be vigorously fought against.

Simple because he can't and it's easy to throw smug opinions around the internet.

I would argue that beheading is a more merciful execution than the electric chair or lethal injection.
Pidaymou · 2 years ago
Justifying the beheading done there is just evil. By Sharia if you're just an apostate or kafir paying jijiya who has done some miniscule mistake which might include affecting the feeling of an Imandar(i.e Muslims). Now anyone can be a kafir because the definition of being a muslim is extremely vague in Quran and hadiths, so that's why you see violence between shia, sunni, ahmediya and all others. Even different factions between Sunnis.

Looks like it wasn't on their list, although I'm happy for India's achievement.

The comments summary needs to be bullet points.

And both summaries should be shorter.

Pidaymou · 2 years ago
I agree on bullet points.

I also wish there was some collection of links presented by users under the post. But anyway the initiative is wonderful.

A look at the previous lunar missions [1] should give an idea. There have been 7 lander missions since 1976 (not including impactors):

- 3 by China: All success

- 1 by Japan (along with a rover from UAE): Failed

- 1 by Israel: Failed

- 1 by Russia: Failed

- 2 by India: Previous one failed. This one succeeded

I can see why the entire world would be excited by something like this. I hope that there will be routine landings by different players and that the landing guidance would be perfected.

Actually 3 by India.

1- was an orbiter: Success

2- Orbiter+ lander&rover: Partial success, orbiter succeed but lander crashed.

3- Lander&rover: Succesful.
