Fly.io seems to be a bit of a mixed bag:

If a cloud platform doesn't really provide reliability, I'd say it's probably not worth it. You could better just rent a (virtual) server and save the cloud tax.

I tried out Fly.io and deployed a little test app. I couldn't even access the app, because they put it onto a server that was under "emergency maintenance" and had been that way for twelve days.

The way animations are done in react native for instance, is that you use JS to define the animation and send it to the native code which actually executes it.

JS should just do the same in the browser instead of relying on an arcane language not designed for this

Good news! You can with the Web Animations API.

After reading the original post I was reminded of the article you shared and went to go check if it was the same guy.

Definitely a good read!

It's wild how unscientific this video was, and how all of them were basically going off of their gut feelings for answers.

But is it really? We're omnivores. Our bodies are designed to eat meat.

I went hardcore keto and only eat meat + cheese and I've lost a ton of weight and lowered my BP etc. That is way healthier than what I was before so I'm not sure the argument cutting down on meat is healthy.

But it's not eating meat that's making you lose weight, it's cutting out all the carbs you'd normally eat...
