Just finished migrating to it to replace pdf2docx in a new project I’ve been working on and it is so much better. Thanks for open sourcing OpenDataLoader-PDF!

Amateur question, how are people using this for coding?

Direct chat and copy pasting code? Seems clunky.

Or manually switching in cursor? Although is extra cost and not required for a lot of tasks where Cursor tab is faster and good enough. So need to opt in on demand.

Cline + open router in VSCode?

Something else?

Consider taking a look at Zed, it can use Gemini with an API key and has an agentic “write” mode if you don’t want to copy and paste.

Not really a direct alternative as it requires you to use their bank but I've used Qube money for years and love never having to import transactions.

Qube Money is a fintech startup where your debit card is controlled by an envelope based budgeting app. It's still early days so no check deposit but they have thriving Facebook group of users and it helps me be much more intentional about spending.

They even have some neat features similar to privacy.com where you can spin up virtual ACH/debit card numbers via "Bill Qubes". Not to hide your identity but make sure free trials stay that way.

> The $10 billion loss asserted in the PSR is "illusory" because the "victims are poised to recover—were always poised to recover—a hundred cents on the dollar" in bankruptcy proceedings, SBF's filing said

Can someone explain how this would be? Didn't they loose billions of dollars through Alameda?

Despite good intentions, extreme poverty cannot easily be solved from outside a country. Looking at some of the worst countries: When they receive aid, as often as not that aid is sold off, and the proceeds land in the pockets of corrupt politicians. Or it is destroyed in continuous civil war. Or it puts local farmers out of business, because they cannot compete with "free". Etc, etc.

Solutions must come from within the countries, and those solutions must involve cultural change: reduced tribal hatreds, fewer civil wars, less corruption, and so forth. Without such change, a lot of external aid just worsens the problems it is supposed to solve.

Give Directly has an interesting approach, direct cash transfers. Seem to have studies that show it helps.

I had to reset my password once for it to work. I wonder if my initial password was too long.

A reminder for everyone that Authy allows multi device and backups in case you lose your phone. From my understanding Google Authenticator doesn't offer either of these.
