According to this woman's world view, Somehow the most incompetent bumbling fool on the planet got lucky for a decade and a half and stumbled his way to becoming one of the richest humans alive. Tesla cars are outdated heaps of poorly manufactured corner cut parts. Tesla has endured "Years of starving research and development". And any second now Tesla will utterly collapse in order for Elon to promulgate toxic hate speech because he is just so super mean. Please find some better drugs lady, this fantasy 'journalism' career you've invented is depressing as shit.

He's only the world's richest man because he owns Tesla stock. He agrees that Tesla stock is overvalued in the market. That is presumably part of the reason why he is selling.

Tesla's market cap is more than the market cap of all the other carmakers combined last time I checked. It seems really unreasonable.

OK. That is an example of a reasonable argument. The article is not making reasonable arguments, it's just a wall of feelings based shit-posting. I don't care who the richest person is. At least in this moment a rich person is helping to drive innovative technology rather than hoarding Oil profits.

If BI is wrong will they issue a retractment? Likely not. Just more clickbait. Twitter is losing money but it's one of those slow-burn businesses with a lot of capital to keep it running forever. There is no reason to expect Tesla and Twitter have anything to do with each other. Elon does not even have the authority to divert financial resources from Tesla to Twitter.

Tesla is being turned into the red Maga hat of cars now by Elon so in theory that could hurt the bottom line.

Quote from the article:

Tesla's predicament reminds me of BlackBerry, which also was the darling in a new market for years — until it wasn't. BlackBerry failed to sustain investment in new product innovation and ignored burgeoning market trends until its competition surpassed it. BlackBerry never regained its former glory.

Waiting for twitter to collapse for about a month now. Seems to be up still
paulpauper · 3 years ago
It collapsed because some people do not like how it's run. The bar is pretty low for what is considered 'collapsed'.

In 2022 basically anything can be a news headline if you will it.

I think you meant, "In 2022, can anything be a news headline?"

This seems like one of those times to go with Betteridge: no.
